The fishing on the Bitterroot is getting better the Skwalas are still waiting to complete the migration there are Midges and nemora for dry fly fishing. use Skwala nymphs, hares ears, copper johns on the bottom doubled up and fish later when the temps. get warmer and you will have a good time.

With the weather on the wet side today there were no viable hatches taking place.
Rolling some rocks reveled skwala nymphs massing near shore preparing to emerge.
The skwala hatch is close, but with the weather forcast calling for colder weather for the next week it would be a good time to get somemore fly’s tied.
